I have been a patient of Dr. Katyal for quite a while now. I looked for a suitable doctor for many years but didn't find many psychiatrists who provide therapy as well. Dr Katyal is knowledgeable, honest and professional. She is a caring doctor and got me through some rough times. She always treated me like an individual, not a diagnosis to be treated. She is fair and nonjudgmental. Unlike many psychiatrists and therapists who want you to return for appointments forever Dr Katyal always tries to get you the help in minimum possible visits. This is the best I have felt in years.

I was very depressed for many years, Dr Katyal treated me with the correct medication and thoughtful conversation. I feel hopeful in my life after a very long time. I'm in a much better place now, very few psychiatrists actually listen to you and work with you nowadays. Dr. Katyal is a top-notch psychiatrist. She is obviously highly qualified, but she is also extremely intelligent, courteous and caring. She gave me so much information! she knows what she's talking about. She has an easygoing personality and an excellent bed-side manner. This is a self-pay practice but let me tell you that its the best money I have spent. She is thorough, punctual, honest and highly professional and really helped me. I would recommend her anytime!!
I was a patient of Dr. Katyal for over 2 years until i moved to New Jersey. Ive had a life long problem with anxiety and have been taking medication for many years. My experience with Dr. Katyal has been absolutely wonderful! Unlike many other Psychiatrists who just meet with you 15 minutes and write you a script, Dr. Katyal really took the time to listen to me, exchange ideas with me and she helped me through some tough issues with intelligent, thoughtful, caring conversation!
Speaking with Dr. Katyal is like talking your heart out to a dearest friend knowing you are in good hands. She immediately puts you at ease with warm yet professional demeanor. Her office is a comfort zone where you can be at ease. She takes time to understand and works with you to find the underlying cause and not just the immediate problem.
